PeekViewer respects the intellectual-property rights of others and expects users to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
Important context
PeekViewer displays publicly available Instagram content hosted by Instagram; we do not host the original media. Where we cache public content, we will remove or disable access to specific material upon a valid request.
Filing a takedown notice
If you believe content accessible through our Service infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent including:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- Identification of the material and its location (URL) so we can find it.
- Your contact information (name, address, email).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.
Counter-notice
If you believe material was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice with the equivalent information and a statement, under penalty of perjury, of your good-faith belief that the material was removed by mistake.
Repeat infringers
We may restrict or terminate access for users who are the subject of repeated valid infringement notices.
